The Board of Secondary Education, Assam, commonly known as SEBA, has indeed been a household name in Assam. SEBA has moulded a few generations of the society who were bred amidst the salubrious and soothing milieu of Assam and who had their school leaving education under SEBA’s dispensation. Today, SEBA is responsible for the qualitative inputs provided to nearly one million youth of the state and for carrying out their assessments so that they become responsible and constructive members of their societies.

Established in 1962, SEBA is on the threshold of celebrating its Golden Jubilee. SEBA reiterates its determination to meet its commitment and responsibilities to the people, especially the bright youths of Assam. At the same time, SEBA is committed to meet the requirements of the rapidly changing global environmental trends, by keeping itself up-to-date with contemporary thoughts and ensuring that the youths of the state can meet the challenging needs of the future.

On my part, I am determined to steer SEBA in the direction that would be of utmost relevance to the future generations. At the same time, it would be my Endeavour to make SEBA a transparent, super efficient and highly effective organisation that meet the aspirations of the people of Assam. Each and every member of the SEBA family is fully committed to ensure that SEBA remains one of the most reliable and trustworthy service Provider to the Society.
